Letters of Invitation
Some countries require their citizens to obtain a temporary resident Visa prior to entering Canada. Sometimes when a person is applying for this temporary Visa they are asked to provide a letter of invitation from someone currently residing in Canada. The letter is required to be prepared by the person issuing the invitation, and some Visa offices require that this letter be notarized by a Notary Public.
For more information on what the letter must contain about the person being invited and about yourself, please visit the Government of Canada’s Website. To see if you will require a Temporary Resident Visa, take this brief questionnaire.
Please have the letter completed prior to your appointment. For more information please feel free to contact our office at 250-388-5905.
